Hello,

i just filed for my Naturalization. My wife is a US citizen and we have two kids together. The problem is my wife had 2 names coz of her name spelling her actual name.

birth cert, naturalization, marriage certificate is: Quratlain khan

on ss card, one of my child birth certificate is:

Qurat khan

i did mention this on the n400 form that she had used the second name in some instances.

I am in the process of just taking out her second  name out of everything and replacing it with the correct name.

My question is will immigration officer give me hard time becoz of this even though i am the one filing for my citizenship. i have no problems in my name.

Thank you in advance.

I don’t think it would be an issue, you noted both names on the form.
