I-130 question

Hello everybody

I am just about to start DCF (Frankfurt), so I will be present on Visajourney for a "while". A year ago I went through K1, because we wanted to get married in Vegas. I left without AP-my husband is in military and we had to come back to Germany.

I just looked at I 130 form and it says at the top OMB # 1615-0012; Expires 01/31/07. Is there a new form?

USCIS posts the newest form to their site.

The date on that form is not when the form expires, it is the date that the Office of Management and Budget placed on it for USCIS to suggest changes, after that date no more suggestions would be accepted from USCIS to OMB, that was the expiration date for suggestions, not when the form expires. That is what the "OMB" next to the date indicates.

Also if you read on USCIS site about the form:

Edition Date : 1/5/07. Previous editions accepted.

So they will even accept older versions of I-130 than the one posted, so don't worry about this.

USCIS has the new forms.
