Yes you are right, the type of visa certainly plays a part in how long it takes the case to be processed (and of course, the Consulate!). :yes:

Also my wife spoke to few other people who came for the interview and they all had petitions filed at end of last year. She was the only one who had her petition filed in 2007.

Hey this might be because you sent in your packet 3 in advance? I assume most non-vjers don't know about this.
