Interesting you bring up the doomsday clock today.  Btw, I came home from China in mid-December, now I was not in Wuhan, but I did develop a cold a few days after my return.  It ran its course.

  I read Neil deGrasse Tyson explaining once that on the scale of the clock, humans evolved at about 3 minutes to midnight or something. Kind of absolves us of a lot of the blame I think. Also makes me wonder, if I found a watch at 3 minutes to midnight, do I really think I could extrapolate what had been going on the rest of the day.

Seriously though... this thing is really terrible. Horrible videos being smuggled out of China. People collapsing in the street, bodies stacked up, reports of people at labor camps infected, others being 'disappeared' into 'medical camps'. No one believes the government is telling the truth about how many are infected and dead... and conspiracy theories about a bio lab in Wuhan abound.
