Joint Sponsor

Hello all!
 

I have tried to scour the posts already to see if my question can be answered, but I haven't found one specifically to what I'm asking. I'm aware that the I-134 is not legally binding whereas the I-864 is, so in that case am I able to use 2 different sponsors? One for I-134 and a different one for I-864? Or would that raise a flag against us in some way?

Bit more to add, if I can use 2 different sponsors, once I fill out and send in the I-864 does it override or cancel out the I-134 joint sponsor's responsibilities for supporting us?

Correct, I-134 is not legally binding.   You can have a different I-864 as a Joint Sponsor.

Okay thank you! So does that mean they would both be responsible for the duration of the forms, 10 years or until my partner becomes a citizen, or does the I-864 take precedence over the I-134?

I-134 sponsorship isn't relevant to the AOS.  For the AOS you need to have a sponsor that qualifies.
