Lol

Oh, I have a small Eau relaxante body moisturizer in my travel kit. Smells so good.

I like this oil

https://www.albabotanica.com/products-alba/hawaiian-body-oil/

It goes on sale under $10 at Whole foods.  It smells great, absorb fast, works well.  I like it much better than the Nuxe one.  There used to be one from Bourjois, in spray, with light shimmer.  It was the best, but it's been discontinued :(

I'll look at Kate McLeod products, thanks.

@beloved_dingo+1 for The Ordinary products.  I have the zinc niamicide also, but my favourite from them is The Buffet.

I will check out the body oil -- I am at Whole Foods every other day since I work pretty much next door to one. I am a sucker for the overpriced salad bar. I used to have this amazing Bourjois lipstick I bought in the UK years and years ago, the absolute perfect coral for someone with my coloring, and then when I went back to buy one... gone. Poof! I still think about it and it has been a decade at least. My favorite discontinued body product was the Benefit Bathina Body So Fine, which was a body balm with a little shimmer and this amazing, peachy-plummy-rose scent. So nice in the summer on bare legs with a sun dress.

I ordered the Kate McLeod "stone" today and will do a review. This is a pretty useful overview: https://www.popsugar.com/beauty/kate-mcleod-daily-stone-solid-moisturizer-review-48986593

I wanted so much to like Buffet but it made me break out -- acne and rosacea twofer. 😕 Sad nope for me.

Why do they always discontinue the best products?

I only have to use a couple of drops of oil per limb, after my shower. The bottle last forever, I've even split mine with my mother and siblings.

Now I'm hungry and i want to get some food from them too...

It's my thread so I think I can derail a little bit. :P

Kate McLeod stone update: I've used it twice now, and I am getting the hang of it. The first time, like a lot of people apparently, I had too heavy a hand and I ended up greasy. Yuck. Second time I followed the directions more closely, warming up the bar and then stroking it on my skin lightly before spreading it and rubbing it in. I went back to cover areas (elbows, knees) that needed a touch more. Very light this way, and I totally understand the concept of this being a daily self-care ritual. It smells great going on, but then the scent dissipates so it's more aromatherapy than something to keep you perfumed through the day.

Over the weekend I tried samples (obtained when I bought the Kate McLeod stone) of the Ilia liquid powder eye tint in a variety of shades: https://iliabeauty.com/collections/liquid-powder-eye-tint I think I got six shades with about 2 uses per shade, and I have tried Adobe and Dim so far. These are great! Subtle for a monochromatic look -- swipe a little across the lid and work quickly to smudge it out because it dries fast. I might get one or two when I have used them up.

Oh wow, remember when I was looking for a light grey stick?  I think the powder eye tint in Dove would work!  Happy dance, it does look very close to the shade I was aiming for :)

The stone reminds me a bit of the Lush massage bars I used to get.   The distribution seems very limited in my area, but I will try to smell them in person if I can.

Yes -- I thought of you when I was trying these! Dove is one of the samples, I'll let you know what I think of it.

They are a little similar to the Lush massage bars (I remember them too!) but a bit more luxe. I really love the no-waste packaging on these -- the label was a thin strip of cardboard, and then everything else is wood, cloth or the bar itself.

Dr. Teal's Eucalyptus Body Lotion

My latest purchase, we have had a very dry winter and I was feeling scratchy? changed the washing powder but no joy, so bought a bottle of this, seems to be helping, a little goes a long way and I like the pump dispenser.
