Managed to get myself into Rouge category at Sephora.  LMAO!!  Trying these:

I've never contoured before so this palette seemed like a good start.  I like tarte as a brand.  Sometimes their eye palettes have too many shimmer shades though.

I also have never contoured, please let us know how it goes.

Welcome fellow Rouge! :P No shame in the game. One of the best things about it is the 20% off and secret sales, plus early access. When life is back to normal, there are also private events at stores -- swag bags and early access to products.

Coincidentally I bought the same Huda palette last night. That is a great value with the sale, and then the sale on sale. I have only tried Huda Beauty lipstick and perfume (currently addicted to the Kayali Vanilla) but all I've read is that her eyeshadow palettes are fantastic. Tarte is a great brand and I agree on the shimmers. However their bronzers are fantastic. My absolute favorite is the matte Park Avenue Princess. I hatehateHATE sparkly bronzers and tarte does it right.

I also swear by this! I have a huge tub under my sink. It pulls out all the impurities and leaves your skin super soft. I mix it with Bragg organic ACV. The mistake a lot of people make is brushing it on thick. Thin is best; thick and you'll be waiting forever.

That means TBone will never have any idea of what it is.

Meaning that no expense will ever be paid for it.

Plenty of men do contouring now, no shame in that game. :D

I bought this when I was a little tipsy on Xmas Eve -- I was seized by the thought that I had to have a selection of green eyeshadows. Well, at least it was inexpensive! Actually, I have bought from Colourpop before and their stuff is top notch. I guess I'll see how the green thing goes -- I have green eyes, and maybe it will play them up.

I think Droid Protocol would make an excellent eyeliner shade. 5 matte, 4 shimmer, which is well balanced. Would have liked one more pale matte as a base.

Speaking of bases, this turned out to be a dud and I never use it: https://supergoop.com/products/shimmershade I thought it would be a great base -- bought it in Golden Hour -- but it does exactly what it says on the pot: it's goopy. Nothing layers on top except my KVD liquid pen eyeliner. That's a nice look with a bold lip, but I mean come ON, where am I wearing a bold lip outside these days?

Exactly

Glad you agree. I did go out today, mostly to go explore on the journey of "where will we actually buy a home" and ended up in West Hollywood. I wore a muted lip even though no one could see it except me in the car. Did stop for a cheeseburger at Astro Burger (#2 on this list: https://www.lamag.com/digestblog/oscars-restaurant-power-rankings-eat-awards/).

The Desert Dusk palette arrived! A little disappointed that there is a scratch in the Twilight pan. This picture taken in natural light as the afternoon leaks away doesn't do it justice -- the Twilight, Celestial and Retrograde are color shifting and so gorgeous in real life.

Also picked up the Olaplex No. 3 because the ends of my hair are just haggard now, even with careful attention. My hair is hip length now, only about five more inches before I can sit on it. What with COVID keeping us shut down for the foreseeable future (stay at home order extended indefinitely) there will be no professional haircuts for me for a while.

I used Desert Sand today as a base, with Twilight all over the lid and then put Royal in the crease. I lined with my favorite Marc Jacobs eyeliner in a dark purple. Sooooo pretty! Too bad I'm going nowhere today.

I also used the Olaplex No. 3 this morning, left it on for 2 hours. It feels like it's done a little for the crunchy stuff on the ends of my hair, but I have to say it is VERY shiny and smooth.
