Hopefully you have someone to comfort you in these horrific times.

At the moment I am home alone, which is how I managed to eat half a bag of Ruffles and a third of a pineapple on my own this afternoon.

Got my kid this huge palette of make up for xmas.

She wants me to buy her clothes... I dunno wth is fashionable these days.  I wear black pants and grey polos on a daily.

Oh, that is a shame. :(

Apparently my stuff is on a truck somewhere in LA right now, on its way to me. This is what I got.

The Verb Ghost shampoo and conditioner are for my husband, who finally admitted he liked these better than the tea tree stuff he was using. It was snarling his hair. His hair is still a mess of curls but they are very soft now.

I've heard good things about the ghost shampoo and conditioners.  I liked my Amika cleansing oil.

My samples were some tatcha moisturizer and two different primers (the search for face primer continues.)

The Ghost shampoo/conditioner/hair oil is great, and the pricing is excellent for what good quality it is. Doesn't strip hair at all, and doesn't weigh it down either.

I waited for the new conditioner to come to wash my hair and now.... day four hair. It is... pliable? I don't usually wait this long between washes, three days is really the maximum. I used some of the Amika "undone" I got as a deluxe sample the other month and it made it look very tousled and sexy, and like it wasn't in need of a wash for the hour I went out and had a walk/ran an errand today.  I may get the big bottle -- I had used it before but I wasn't impressed for whatever reason. It may be with longer hair now it works better on me.

Tried the Marc Jacobs eyeliner today -- wow! This is so, so pretty, a deep violet matte that has a bit of glow to it. But not so deep that it's nearly black. On green eyes it is gorgeous, and it was super smooth in application, no dragging.

The La Neige in Gummy Bear smells exactly what it sounds like. I have a slight chapping on my upper lip and it's already starting to work on that.

drybar Liquid Glass is pretty decent. I washed with Oribe Gold Lust shampoo and then conditioned with the Liquid Glass, worked some Moroccanoil into the lengths and finished the ends with a Schwarzkopf split end repair cream (love this stuff). I let it air dry for about 45 minutes, then blew it straight. Not bad! The frizz is better than usual.

And I love the Huda Kayali Vanilla perfume -- very autumnal and not too sweet. I smell a bit like vanilla marshmallows roasting over a bonfire, washed down with a couple of fingers of whisky.

This line could be made to fit in a Bulwer-Lytton contest entry, I think. :P

Any recommendations?

There are a bunch of articles right now on the best deals.

https://nymag.com/strategist/article/sephora-black-friday-sale-2020.html -- The Ole Hendriksen Three Little Wonders is a good deal. I am currently banned by my derm from using anything except what she says I can use on my face in terms of cleanser/serum/moisturizer, but this kit is GREAT. The deal on the Urban Decay palette is excellent, but I don't like the Heat one. The Cherry one is similarly priced and I am getting that one. I am a sucker for pinks and purples.

https://www.allure.com/story/sephora-black-friday-deals-sales-2020 -- The Urban Decay Perversion mascara is VERY well priced at $10. I have more mascara than I know what to do with at the moment so I'm passing. I am thinking about the Marc Jacobs bronzer -- it is a very large compact, and will last a long time.

https://www.glamour.com/story/ulta-black-friday-sale-2020-day-3 The Clinique skincare set for oily skin is a steal. The Aquage finishing spray (bottom of page) is excellent.

https://www.allure.com/story/ulta-beauty-black-friday-deals-sale-2020 I'd get the IGK Offline Hair Mash -- I had a deluxe sample and I liked it, though I prefer my Kerastase. Mario Badescu drying lotion is the bomb for adult acne, although it stinks like rotten eggs.
