Just wondered what the going rate for Botox is.

Depends on how many ccs you need.   I think its around 25 a unit my sister pays a few hundred for her forehead and smile lines but she gets rewards and apparently saves lots of money racking points... I have not yet jumped that band wagon so I don't know first hand.  She has been pushing me to join her (I think only because she'll get points..lol)

Putting the reminder in my calendar for October 15, which seems a reasonable time.

It's lovely here in winter. :D A little grey, but generally not any cooler than mid 50s during the day.

Anyone have any leave-in conditioner recommendations? I feel like I need more moisture. I have normal hair, no scalp issues, but I haven't had a haircut in 5 months! While I don't have split ends, the last 3 inches or so are really dry. My hair is almost waist-length now, which is absurd. I dithered about getting a cut, and then the salons closed again, so I'm stuck, and I don't have the courage to DIY this sort of thing. I use Keratase Elixir Ultime hair oil all over, but I need a boost for the ends.

I love Sexy Hair Seal the Deal split end remover.   Even if you don't have splits, I feel it really softens the dry ends.

This was described as a filler for the bridge of the nose.

Make sure to use primer even if you're wearing a mask.  They should be washed in hot water or boiled for 30 minutes.  I throw mine in with the whites (even though they're black) and use bleach.

Alternatively get masks that stick out further from your face.  There are some patterns online if you sew that have the front edge further away.  All of mine are shaped masks not the pleated kind.

I always wear primer -- I am combo/oily, and in the summer that definitely tilts to oilier. I have been using a YSL primer for a little while, and I recently got a Becca one that is supposed to do a better oil reduction job.

I wash the masks with tea towels, wash cloths, etc. on hot but do not use bleach. I wonder if that might make a difference. All my masks are the pleated kind, handmade by my aunt who has been making them for everyone in the family. We both have 12 now -- don't want to be caught without one.

Check Groupon/Living Social for deals. I haven't had any done but I am leaving the door open for the future.

Only plastic surgery I would want are my chest, tummy tuck, and a chin lift. But since i scar easily the chin prolly wont happen. Mole/skin tags removed would be nice too. My friend gets botox in her head for her migraines.  Its like 2k.

I had a few skin tags I took them off myself.  Moles I wouldn't attempt but I don't think they are too expensive if any cause irritation or rub against clothing you might be able to have your insurance cover it.  I had one removed from my bra line years ago my insurance covered the removal.

Earlobe infection -- I'd been having an issue with my ear on and off for a while, but it seemed to be healing. Then yesterday evening the earlobe blew up with inflammation. :( The doctor encouraged me to lay off makeup and skin treatments (except cleansing/moisturizing) until the course of antibiotics is over. :crying: 10 days.

Have you tried the Van Gogh Solution?

It's not quite that dire! I think 10 days on Augmentin is better than a gaping wound on the side of my head.

It IS my left ear though..... decisions.

A lot of medical spa offices partake in “Botox parties” where prices are significantly less than their normal rate. I’ve seen them go as low as $9/unit during these promo events.

Tomorrow is my first makeup day after the makeup diet.My ear is pretty much all better, hooray!

I bought a ton from Sephora, all skin/haircare (couple of mascara freebies too) and I'll do a rundown on Sunday. I've been taking a course on paleography and it's sucked up all my time this week. One quick review: I am loving the Moroccanoil serum! Great on wet and dry hair. My hair is so insanely long now it needs all the help it can get. I am planning on buying some decent scissors soon and cutting on my own. My hair is now pretty much at my waist.

A tip for @Jsg2016 who was asking about lip masks last month -- I got a deluxe sample of the La Neige lip sleeping mask and it is fantastic. The maskne I had cleared up from treatment, but the treatment dried out my lips. :( So when I ordered a couple of cheapie hand masks from Sephora this week, I got the La Neige. Quite thick and a bit gloopy, but in the morning, all the rough patches were gone and my lips looked plumper.

This is the one (I got it in berry): https://us.laneige.com/products/lip-sleeping-mask

Brad mondo has a tutorial online for cutting your own hair, complete with layering if you want.
