Thanks - I might try the Blue Tansy.  For the hands, I might try to diy with gloves and what I have already. Gardening has been hard on my skin...

I am on the case! Seriously, I need something for my own. Not gardening, but they are drier than usual, probably from being indoors all the time with the AC on.

I like Mt Princeton, have not been but am told Cottonwood is good, different, are you looking for somewhere you can go au naturel?

Thank you, I will add them on my list.  The rates look very reasonable, so maybe we'll get to try both :)

I don't mind wearing a bathing suit.  Finnish baths around here where we can go au naturel are split between ladies/men areas... it's ok, but I do enjoy spending time relaxing my old bones with my man.

+ all the hand washing 😕

[The Caudalie Premier Cru Crème (not the hand one, face one), is amazing on hands - not a reasonable expense, but I always take a generous sample when in store...]

There are some further south where anything goes.

Ugh, completely forgot about the hand cream, and now I desperately need some. A task for tomorrow. :)

Got the Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush in 4N deluxe sample and it is a much, much better match than the 5N (I think that's the one I got). I also picked up a sample of the MUFE Ultra HD Invisible Cover in Y245 and it's pretty good -- a nice, glowy, not too matte and not too full foundation. Good for an everyday coverage when I don't need too much heavy lifting.

Picked up three cheapie eyeliners including a blue one -- I haven't worn blue eyeliner since I was in high school and it brought me right back there.

Hubs and I have been using dr palmers cocoa butter lotion. Works REALLY well. Nongreasy. Absorbs well. Smells like cocoa beans. (Hubs says smells like chocolate chip cookie dough.)

Trying some new shampoo from sephora with apple in it.  Got a little travel pack with shampoo, conditioner, heat protection creme, exfoliating shampoo and a hair mask. Briogeo.  Guess i should have read the reviews which said everything sucks? Im going to sephora today, maybe i should return it? Mostly just wanted to try the shampoo and conditioner.

If you have oily hair or lots of product build up, try Amika cleansing oil.  I had a sample and it was so great!

Returning my nars today. Realized she gave me a neutral foundation... my pink skin says neutral how?  I need more primer and maybe some more brushes? I want to try falsies but i rarely use liner... how does that work?

Thank you for the tip! Next time I place an order for Amazon, I will try it. I have been using a Eucerin lotion but it feels a bit too heavy, so I end up not using it.

I know which set you mean -- I was looking at it as well. I hear the banana Briogeo set is very good but I also read the reviews for the apple set. I am very wary of trying anything new on my hair after the Ouai debacle -- my hair is finally recovered after two weeks of care. On the other hand, I did get a deluxe sample of the Briogeo Don't Despair hair oil which I kind of think I like? It had a learning curve. I used it first instead of my usual hair oil/serum because the reviews said it's super hydrating and lightweight. However, I got the frizz again. No good. Then I figured it out -- I use it after my hair is dry, on the ends to hydrate and a tiny bit on the crown of my head where I have the worst frizz. Success! Best thing is day two hair is extremely hydrated and made styling very easy. I will look out for the Amika oil!

Yeah, my color matches have been very off recently when ordering new foundations online. It keeps matching me too dark, like on the darker end of light/medium when I am definitely fairer. One matched me with tan! I have light red hair and green eyes, and while I can tan, I also burn if I am not careful. I am not latte-colored. I want to say to the Sephora website: girl, what ARE you thinking?

I bought a new primer -- Becca EverMatte. Ehhhhh. Not sure yet. What did you choose?

I went through a false eyelashes period when I was trying to reinvent myself after my first marriage blew up, and I got pretty good at putting them on. And YES! You can do it without eyeliner. You need lashes with a clear strip and clear glue -- and some practice. This is the video I watched when I taught myself how to do it, and it's excellent. She makes it very clear what she's using as well as her technique. And a lash tool is so helpful. She doesn't mention she put on mascara first, but she does in the comments -- it helps the fakes blend with the reals.

Okay ended up with some eyelash curlers, which I havent used in forever.  My friend got me some magnetic falsies but im not keen. Apparently she had to cut hers and mine doesn't even go across my eye the whole way so I'm not sure I'm doing it right... regardless the thick line of liner you have to use is a turn off. (Most of my "lining" is with a brush and eye shadow.)

I got too faced hangover 3 in 1. Its a primer and setting spray.  I was on the lookout for some more brushes but i found two palettes i want to order at ulta and may just get some cheaper brush sets.   Or maybe i should start up ipsy again..

I’ve never wandered to the off topic section, this is my kinda thread !

loccitaine hand cream is the best🙌🏻 A bit pricey though.
Drug store- good old fashioned Eucerin is great. I just discovered Raw Sugar lotion brand at target, not specifically hand cream but a great body lotion and their scents are amazing.

Has anybody else bought COSTCO Coconut Oil?

I actually ended up using Eucerin after all -- finally found one that works for me. It's the Advanced Repair hand cream. Though I do looooove me some L'Occitane!

Does anybody use a lip mask? (Not a scrub) I used to use one where you leave a paste on your lips and wipe it off with a wet towel after a few minutes. I used it back in the day and cannot remember the brand. Now my lips are back to always being dry and on the hunt for a mask. It seems that all are scrubs, those lip cut out sheets, or an overnight lip treatment balm that I’m not interested in.

Yes! I have used ones by Bite and Fresh, but I liked the Bite one more. Both were samples. This is the Bite one: https://www.sephora.com/product/bite-beauty-agave-intensive-lip-mask-vegan-P454747?icid2=products%20grid:p454747

I don't at this time of year, but in the winter sometimes I need a little something to get the chapped skin off. You might consider it later on in the year, considering where you're located. :)
