LEHI, UT—While touring the Young Living essential oils factory, local woman Karen Nicolle fell into a vat of essential oils, granting herself immortality.

She emerged from the surface of the oils, her eyes glowing as her body achieved full immortality. She also smelled of lavender and primrose.

"Foolish mortals!" she cried as she surfaced from the potent blend of essential oils. "I have peered into eternity and beheld the depths of the universe. I have seen nebulae spiraling off the edges of galaxies light-years away. I have straddled the stars and peered into the face of God. I know all things, past, present, and future. I have seen the starlight glinting off the primordial ooze of ancient eons past, approximately 6,000 years ago."

"Plus, my skin feels amazing."

Sadly, the oils still don't seem to be working on her lower back pain.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

That Young Living thing is SUCH a scam. I used to read a lot of Mormon Mommy blogs (they are very consumable -- beautiful people with beautiful children in beautiful houses, all with a hipster vibe) and there were so many women trying to flog the oils.

Well I understand it is like that company that sells the horrible leggings to women without mirrors, or friends.

I have a high school friend who got sucked into that whole LulaRoe thing, and I pity-bought a pair from her. They were... well, they were soft. I will say that. But they were hideous.

fell into a vat

I had a great-uncle, Seamus Aloysius McGillicuddy O'Bone, who worked at a brewery in Ireland.

One day, he fell into a vat of whiskey and drowned.  Three coworkers jumped in to save him, but he fought them off bravely.

They cremated the body, and it took 3 days to put out the fire.

The old ones are the best ones but is it not off topic?

Lord my mom is onto it now.  She was also a Mary Kay person if that makes sense.

Yes, it totally does. Mary Kay is by far more reputable though!

Big sale at Sephora this weekend if anyone is looking to stock up. :)

Also, I can highly recommend the NARS Afterglow lip balms: https://www.sephora.com/product/orgasm-afterglow-lip-balm-P13046537 I bought two -- one in Dolce Vita and the other in Turbo. They are so pretty! They are balms, so they do need frequent touch ups, but they give the nicest slick of color. The Turbo is a gorgeous cherry red that sticks around a little longer than the Dolce Vita, but the formulation is so smooth and they really do hydrate.

Just bought $25.00CDN ($16.00USD) worth of ELF products. They have free shipping on all orders and a free gift when you spend $15.00 so why not? Been needing corrective concealer anyways!

Still we rise, here and now
