Another I-864 for interview?

The checklist for the AOS interview asks for a completed I-864. Is this in addition to the one already sent with the AOS application?

(It will be 6 months since we submitted the I-485. My sponsoring salary was good then but better now.)

Unless your financial situation has significantly changed, there's no need for a new I-864, just bring the one you submitted with your AOS.

It said:

"A completed Affidavit(s) of Support (Form I-864) with all required evidence etc....(unless already submitted)"

But if there are significant changes, it is best to bring a newly-filled out I-864 with all supporting docs with you.

Mine wasn't asked for at the interview. I assumed that was because they already had what they needed. If your income has changed since, it certainly couldn't hurt to bring that document as back-up if they ask.

You are required to take a copy of every document you submitted for AOS with you to the interview, so its not really "over preparation" to take it with you, but rather following instructions. I'll agree, its doubtful they'll ask for it.
