I know my reasons are weak - to be with spouse after being married for more than two years. That’s the truest reason i can say. Anyone here got denied because of this?

heres an acknowledgement email from them. How long until they decide on my case?

thank you

nvc documents review now on it’s 7th week

In most cases it is not a good enough reason for most U.S. Embassys or Consulates.

From what I have heard they respond to expedite requests in a short amount of time. You shouldn't have to wait too long for their answer.

Keep us posted.

They already know you want to be with your spouse. That’s clearly implied when you filed for a spousal reunification visa.

Clearly. Being at f2a category puts you on a longer wait time. Also mentioned some reasons that can support that statement. Many people here got the same reasons for approval just haven’t read who didn’t make it. Hoping for the best.

No harm in requesting the expedite. The consulate will review the request. This tends to be in days to weeks, but can take longer. Every expedite request is handled on a case by case basis.

That said, the reason stated applies to practically every F2A case for a spouse and literally every IR-1 case. At that point, it's basically asking the consulate to either treat your relationship as more important than others, or alternatively to treat every spousal case as more important than other immigrant cases.
