Well, I haven’t received my 10 year green-card as yet, however the immigration officer said, I can go ahead and submit my N400.  He said, if I get approved  I’ll just go ahead and get my citizenship interview. So, I asked him if I need to get my number of my greencard he said no. So I’m gonna go right ahead and file🙂. He said I won’t be getting a 10 year card if I get approved for citizenship. I have been married to my US spouse for 3 yrs October will be 4yrs

U didnt get i751 approved yet, or u did(but u just didnt get card) ? In that case itll be combo interview both at once. But u get citizenship so u dont get green card. unless u fail citizenship but get approved i751. Lets say u cant read in english 😄 which is really hard to fail since the test is really easy.

Well. Lol. I didn’t get approved yet. I just did my bio metric in November 2019 and I filed in April 2019. However, I just went on the website to file, After I reached the section where it’s asking me about permanent resident card, it’s telling me that I can’t file until after April 6 2020. Lol. Because I haven’t been a permanent resident for 3 years, however the immigration officer said, once I been married for 3 years to the US citizen. That’s weird. So I Married October 8, 2016 and I received my card July 05 2017. So I need to be a resident for 2yrs and 9months

Okay, Thank you!!! Well, the immigration officer didn’t explain. Well, April is around the corner. Hopefully, the fee do not raise for the citizenship 🙂🙂. That’s all I care about

Well, someone just explained. It’s 3 years after you become a permanent resident. Not 3 years after marriage.

3 years being a permanent resident because you are married to a US citizen. Just adding some info. If you weren't married to a USC you'd have to wait 5 years.
