Hi everyone,  i need help

 

My friend had applied for his son since 2015. Had the interview at the embassy in Haiti on 09/26/18.  221 (g) extra document request made. Doc  submitted and received on 10/19/18.

He has not heard anything from the embassy.  since then a lot of unrest in Haiti, thinks that maybe the reason why he did not hear from them. He told me his concern yesterday and i check this morning see below the result of my search. Does anybody have to deal with this before? what is the best way to approach  this problem? Please provide a written statement to the Embassy or Consulate outlining the circumstances beyond your control and noting that you still wish to pursue this visa petition.

He should email the consulate immediately in an attempt to (1) Ask the current status and (2) re-establish interest in pursuing the visa.

The status doesn’t make sense, if he had the interview then he definitely “applied for the visa”. 
Either way he needs to contact the embassy ASAP to sort out what’s going on.
