Hi,

I had my cr1 interview in August 2018 in Mumbai, India. VO gave me 22ig. After few months they sent it back to UICS. After long waiting they scheduled my second interview. Me and my husband attended second interview. Now they gave me 22ig again saying they will email for submitting passport when reviews is complete or I may need to submit further documents. Can anyone gone through same as mine. Please assistance needed.

Lots of people go through the same thing.  The only "assistance" anybody can give is to tell you there is nothing to do but wait until you hear from them.

Unfortunately, it's anyone's guess. You will simply have to wait and see to hear back. Occasionally, you can email the consulate for an update maybe biweekly just to find out if things are stirring. Other than that, hang tight. I'm assuming since you got called for a second interview, things may move faster now.

I learned the hard way, I hope YOU don't have to. Advice: learn, learn, learn.

Thank you for writing me. I just have concern if they send again back to USICS. I think USICS done great job for approval couple of times and no documents asked me this time. Looks like they don’t want to see husband and wife together I see on their faces.

The good news, if any, is that on a CR1 USCIS will issue you a NOIR and you can fight them on it.   You win and it goes back to the consulate and they can't deny you on the same issue.
