Hi all,
Yesterday I got my interview appointment letter in mail and looks like USCIS has scheduled my interview in South carolina (which is my mailing address state ) where as I live in Boston(my physical address). Can I fly out to South carolina for my interview. I dont want to reschedule my interview to boston office because this might delay the process. Has any body been in this situation? TIA.

what ended up happening? I'm in the exact same situation as you. They scheduled interview by mailing address instead physical address. Did you go for the interview at your mailing address location?

Thanks!

They always do that. You can go there or you can ask to have it transferred. That might take weeks to months

Thanks. Just wanted to make sure that no problem with the officer saying it wasn't the correct jurisdiction etc so was trying to hear about the poster's experiences. But if others have also gone for interviews in jurisdictions where they don't reside then hopefully it is ok!
