You are just going to have to wait.   It sounds like, based on the one thing you submitted, that the petition might have been week.  Not visiting more because of work also leads me to believe that his financials might not be in good shape either.

Hopefully you will know soon from the consulate.  Let us know what happens.

His financial state is in good shape

he makes a $100,000 a year

but you’re right, we’re just gonna sit tight and wait for the end result.

whatever the result turns out to be, I’ll let guys.

Thank u so very much for taking your time to respond to my posts.

Sometimes a big age gap like yours is subject to greater scrutiny to make sure that the relationship is real.  You may get approved after administrative processing, clearly they wanted to see evidence of meeting that wasn't sent with the petition.  If your visa is denied after AP is concluded, your best option is to get married and file for a spousal visa.  But if you do that, make sure you spend more time together, multiple trips, and get lots of evidence to support the additional time, plus financial co-mingling, and send all of that evidence with the I-130 petition.  My husband and I have a 28 year age gap, we were able to overcome it and get his visa with evidence of my 9 trips to Brazil and many documents showing financial co-mingling.  Good luck, hopefully your K-1 visa will be approved!
