I-129F, Part 1 question 5 relevance to K1?

1. I am having trouble understanding how to answer this as it is not applicable to me because I'm filing a K1 for my fiance and not my spouse. Should I select "no" or leave it blank? I don't want to end up getting an RFE for this sort of thing. I tried going off of the example provided on VJ but all of the N/A spaces that are on it are empty and I know that it isn't the best idea to leave things empty.

2. Also, how would I input the A-number (which I don't have) and other "number" fields that are not applicable to me? do I just leave them blank?

1.  That question 35 does not apply to you.  I would leave it blank.  To answer it would imply that you are filing for a K-3 (which you are not).

2.  "N/A" is acceptable, and is usually preferred to leaving boxes blank.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Do I write N/A anywhere in the additional information at the end or just leave the boxes blank and call it good?

Thanks for your response!

I think either way in the "Additional Information" area is OK......It isn't likely that a blank in that area would be seen as ambiguous, imo.

Question 5 part 1.png

I left #5 blank. And I left the ones that didn't apply blank

I left #5 blank also. For questions that the Form automatically grays out (the If Questions, such as IF your Fiance(e) is currently in the US, or IF you have been previously married), I left those blank.
For the boxes that were not automatically grayed out such as Province, I wrote N/A or none if they were asking for a number (such as A-Number).
