You're good with this. Mine was the same after entering the country last September for about 6 weeks then one day just changed to 'Card Being Printed' or something like that.

Great, thank you for the reassurance!

The long winded saga of our move to the US is almost complete. We are heading off on December 21st. Trying to get our dog out there was a nightmare, but all sorted now.

I have a question though, has anyone had to change their address for where the Green Card is sent to? Its nearly been 2 years since my initial application (Feb 2020) and as you can imagine things can change. Our initial plan of moving to DC has now changed due to where my in laws now live and we are off to Arkansas. All my forms state them as being in DC, and that being my final designation, but this is now not the case. My Green Card is due to be sent to their DC address which they no longer live at.

Id like to think its a fairly simple process to change the address but just wondering if anyone has had any experience in this?

If that's your first POE with spouse visa, you may change your GC delivery address by informing the inspecting CBP officer at POE.  It's standard practice for them to ask about your intended address, but in case they don't ask you, make sure to volunteer the information.  CBP should then send the new address info along with your US entry details to USCIS.

I secretly hoped I could request this with the CBP officer when I arrive in Dallas, so i'm glad to hear you have confirmed that, thanks vert much.
