Still nothing for me! Absolutely unbelievable that people in April, May and June have the received their numbers when I still haven’t from March. I am happy for you all of course but so angry at the embassy !

Totally agree. We’ve been waiting since February 27th. I don’t think I’ve seen anyone on here waiting longer than we have at this point..

hopefully some news soon, but this has definitely not been handled well at all.

Eurgh! I am so sorry. It is sooooo frustrating. Like banging head against the wall. I am just bloody hoping I get this number and get my medical/interview done before another lockdown starts 🙏 good luck to us!!

Congrats to those who have gotten their LND. To those still waiting, I will keep my fingers crossed you all get yours very soon.

We've scheduled hubby's medical for Sept 30th. Going to get the DS260 done this weekend.

For trying to schedule the interview. I'm guessing it is just refreshing all the time until one shows up. We are hoping for mid Oct.

So.. for looking for an appointment for the interview. Do we know if they release dates over the weekend or just during the week?

If anyone has had their interview, could you give a brief intro on how it went and what was asked etc? We just don’t know what to expect.
Also, did you take a copy of the whole i130 packet with you too, not sure if we need to.

I Second Robyn and Kris’s last q re interview dates please :)

There is a review section on Visa Journey. In the menu find “Office Reviews and Info” and then choose United Kingdom in the consulate dropdown. You will find descriptions of many interviews in London.

You do not need the petition packet. They have that from USCIS. They don’t need to see evidence of relationship.. Bring the documents listed on the embassy website. A difference you may find as DCF is you will pay your visa fee on the day where others paid online to the NVC. The document collecting person will direct you where to pay and get the receipt.

As a matter of interest, where, in London, do the Medicals take place? Is it Harley Street or are the recognised surgeries all over London?

One clinic  called  Visa Medicals (formerly called Knightsbridge Doctors).

Stu—if you didn’t know there was only one clinic, have you even prepared everything you need to take to the medical? Once you get that LND number, you could be heading to the medical within days. That website has their list of what to bring, their prices, what to expect, etc.  The questionnaire is on the embassy website.

The clinic will give you another one when you arrive.

Thank you for your post and the links therein, albeit that the links were already known.

I am at a loss to understand why an enquiry regarding the location of where medicals for  visas take place could suggest a lack of preparedness.

Once again, thank you for your info. I am sure it will assist many.

Well the day has finally arrived.

My letter came today. All I need now is to find the correct URL to "complete the steps on our website ...." "404 Page Not Found".

You couldnt make it up!!!

Congrats on getting your LND, Stu!

best of luck with the rest of the process. Hopefully once you find the right URL, everything will be much more straightforward.
