So nothing in the post today. The person on FB who got their LND today was also approved end of June. I'm guessing they are working backwards? I am just getting very exhausted waiting on this dang thing. :(

I’ve just sent another email. I somewhat feel reluctant sending them anymore because 1. I’ll probably just receive the standard “be patient” response, or be ignored altogether. 2. The empathetic side of me understands this must be an absolute nightmare for the people working in that department, especially if the applications have all just been mish-moshed into one big pile.

its SO frustrating to see people posting online that they’ve filed in July and already received their case number. (Obviously no frustrations aimed at those people because it’s not their fault I’m still waiting) but I had a job lined up ready to go back to, and everything looked like we’d have been back in NY by Christmas.

nothing looks further from that hope now. 😞

with elderly in laws, who are struggling to cope with the pressure this pandemic has put on everyone, it hurts that we can’t be back already to at least offer emotional support to them if nothing else.

sorry for the long rant, just feeling the frustrations a bit more this morning.

hope you’re all having a decent weekend, otherwise. 👍🏻

I know where you are coming from. I sent another email off as well. Doubt it will do any good, but at least it feels like i'm doing something (even if it is for naught). I want to be back by December. My old employer keeps having jobs open that I can apply for, but we don't want to do that until we have our approval. It's frustrating, especially since it is such a simple part of the process that shouldn't be taking this long.

Good luck to you both with this. After the pointless responses I've received to my emails I feel its just a waste of time. I am not even convinced the emails are read, (and if they are then they sure as $hit dont make an impression) or if the email gets opened by the person able to make any difference.

Simply, I dont see any point in emailing. However I sincerely wish you both success in your venture.

I have decided to wait out and try to get an opinion from an a legal mind. We have a Circuit Judge asking questions but whether that makes any difference only time will tell. Sometimes I feel just knowing someone in the system can make a difference. However, right now its all a guessing game.

Who knows, maybe next week will be the week......

Good luck.

Out of interest, are these NVC filers? Worth bearing in mind that an LND number is assigned by the NVC at a relatively early stage (i.e. at the point that the petition is passed on by USCIS) compared to DCF filers who receive their LND numbers as the final step before being able to book an interview.

I just asked her, and yes, she said she filed DCF. Hopefully those of us still waiting get lucky this week.
