My advice when filling out the form online is to save often as it frequently times out and you frustratingly lose your progress!

I explained about my UK visa situation that if I have to leave the UK without a US immigration visa when my UK visa expires, then situation will be difficult for our family unit. Now I have to try to get an interview date, use that to explain to the UK home office to give me an extension.

My wife in LA has just spoken to her local Congressman’s office and they are now putting an inquiry in with the US Embassy. If you have the ability to do so, I would recommend you do the same.

My husband who is also in LA was about to talk to his congresswoman today. A few hours before he woke up, I got the number!

When you submitted your inquiry, was it using your email address (as the UKC?) I'm the one who has been sending inquiries with my email and I'm the USC. Wonder if that makes a difference?

We both actually submitted the inquiry, however heard nothing back from the embassy after the 14 questions. After days of hearing nothing back, I sent an additional email to the info unit to explain my situation, not sure if my number was already ready to be sent or my final email actually just worked!

Managed to get an interview slot for the 9th of September, but I went back in a few minutes later and clicked reschedule - and up popped an appointment for this Monday (24th) 😮 

 

I booked it, threw my phone down and started jumping up and down. My wife got scared, until I told her what happened.

Congratulations. Also got mine scheduled for September 3rd, there’s literally only one slot when I checked.
