Perfect. We will use my son's address until we secure accommodations once everything is said and done.

The visa fee is paid on the day of your interview.

 

The USCIS immigrant fee (for your greencard) is paid online after the visa is received. Brochure on that fee https://www.uscis.gov/sites/default/files/document/guides/F4en.pdf

On another note, I spoke with Visamedicals this morning. They have plenty of availability for appointments right now and are holding these every day of the week except Tuesday. We are looking to book mine for the end of September, but they haven't released those dates just yet. The person at the reception said to call back on Friday. I did also double check about how old the GP Summary can be and was told no more than 2 months, so I'll have to request another one.

 

In terms of visa interview appointments, there was only one date for August (27th) available when I checked this morning, but I suspect more dates will become available as the week goes on.

That's interesting as the 27th wasn't available last week so they are periodically opening up more appointments.

After countless emails, probably one a week since they sent out those questions in July, I just got this....

I've still not gotten an email response from either my online form or my email i sent direct to them <sigh>

 

I wonder if they realized that if they actually gave us a proper response we would leave them alone? lol

If the Post Room is only working a couple of days per week, I would guess that would be Tuesday and Thursday........I do hope the Post Room is open more frequently.🙂

Why aren’t this people interviewing quizzing everybody in sight? My wife would be 😂
So, is the mail coming in daily? Why aren’t you sending out case numbers? Who does that job? Is everybody back to work? Are some furloughed? How many days a week do you have interviews? What do you do the other days?
