My fiancee now is on a 221g that requests for more relationship evidences. We did not have an engagemnet ceremony before. And I think it is 1 of several reasons that my fiancee did not pass the interviews.

Now, can I go to Vietnam, having the engagement ceremony, taking pictures and gather all evidences and we both go to HCMC to submit them to CO and tell them here is our engagement proof?

Any idea, please?

You should do that !

Good luck to both you !

You should get engagement party as soon as possible and then submit all of that pics with explanation on back side of each picture to US Consulate. My friend had had problem like yours and they received visa after 4 months since they submitted engagement pics.

Good luck to you

Well, the Consulate just want to see that you are fake or not. You need to prove that you are for real. I known a lot of people doing this for the money (30K + for a successed case) and screw the rest of the people in this for a real relationship.....

You need to prove to them with the Picture with the date printed on the Pictures and Phone Logs, Emails, etc....... IF they see you have enough of those evidence they will approve your case. Good Luck!!!!!!!!1

Thank you all for helpful contributions.

Beside our lacking of the engagement ceremony, we just met only one time, and our relationship is only 14 months. Although we keep communicating every day, yes, evey day, and having a lot of phone records, emails, chatting logs,... but I think I need to go back to see her again to have more chance of visa approval. I know I only have this last chance to prove to CO. I want to do it carefully.

Well, I think that is your problem right there. Since you went to VN only one time, the CO will think you are faked. You need to go back one more time and go with her to the Consulate. :) Good luck ....

Did you submit all the chat logs, phone records, etc.? Can you both speak to each other? Or is one half of the correspondence in English and the other in VN?

You are not going to have an opportunity to speak to the CO again. You only get to submit the information for them to consider. They want to see evidence from the beginning of your relationship until now.

How was her interview? Did she struggle with the answers? Confused by dates? Was she speaking directly to the CO or through the translator? It's not just the evidence (logs, mail, etc.) but also the believability. If she didn't know about you, family, work, etc. then that will hurt.

We got the request for more relationship evidence and I had been to VN 3 times and we had submitted the photos from all including our Dam Hoi. We then submitted logs of all the chat, e-mails, etc. covering 2+ years and got the PINK slip.

Give them more than they want to look at. Think Big Picture. Don't get discouraged. But don't try to just get by.
