Good to know! Thank you. :) I’ve seen on some sites that I will also need to send a copy of the I-129F to my fiancé to take with him to his visa interview as well as a more current intent to marry declaration closer to the interview date? Are those things accurate?

YES very accurate.. That's why we make 3 copies of the I-129F packet. When he go for the interview he should have a copy of your I-129F, your recent W2,  recent / current letter of intent re-affirming the comittment to marry him with in 90 days of his arrival in the US on a K1 Visa, his D160 application printout along with the confirmation email from embassy.

Look at reviews for your consulate.

You may be able to see if "front loading" is a good idea or not in your case.

For my wife, i sent in 3 photos for each visit i made to her (i think it was 4 visits) and dated them on the back, and location.  I organozed the evidence by month.  Basically, plane tickets from july were with fotos from july and receipts.  And sent about 1 page of texts/facebook posts from each month since i met her.  Not stupid "i love you, i love you to" texts, but legit deep texts talking about plans, and how our days were and etc.

NOTE: I met my wife in person 6-7 months prior to filing and met her online in a game about 9 months prior to filing.   So 9 pages of texts/posts, in her foreign language and about 12 pohotos, along with boarding passes and receipts. She was approved at the end of her 5 minute interview, and it is the only interview I've read about from Ciudad Jurauz where they asked like 3 questions and took nearly nothing just her police letter, birth certificate, medical and passports.  I am glad i front loaded. to an extent.

Evidence i sent was primarily to show the relationship is genuine and we have met in the past 2 years.

Use the template Letter of Intent found here if you are unsure about what to write. It should be just a simple letter stating that you intend to marry your fiance(e) upon their arrival to the US within 90 days. Also use the checklist found here if you are unsure about what to send. This website is a great resource.

91 photos? No no.  Just print some photos on a normal sheet of paper  up to 9 per page (2-6 seems preferable for size.)

You're over thinking this.  There are people here who have gone thru 4 or 5 spousal or fiance visas who send less info.  Lol. Evidence of meeting in person like boarding passes, passport stamps, combined with photos together would be sufficient.

Wow 91+ pics.. That Waaaaaaaaaaaay too many.

We sent 8 in total, with dates, people and locations written on the back with pencil.

2 pages of Facebook chat screenshots.

Passport stamps scans.

Couple boarding pass copies.

As long as you can prove "meeting in person", you're good. Boarding passes, hotel receipts, passport stamps literally anything showing you two together in one place.

It's not like you're getting convicted for a crime and need to prove your innocence with hundreds of pics lol

I think it depends very much on what country you are dealing with.  It is wise to look at the embassy reviews.  Some places they will not look at evidence that you bring to the interview.  In those cases it is definitely worthwhile to front load.  Not much is required to get an approval from USCIS, but the embassy could be a different story.  Look at your portal to find others going through Bosnia and their interview experience.

Dear Sir or Madam:

I SmalltownPA, do hereby state that I am legally able and willing to marry The most beautiful woman in all of Vietnam, and intend to do so within 90 days of her arrival into the US using the K1 visa.

This has worked on and I-130, an I-129F that I withdrew and a current I-129F in process.

Really.

You will never see the what USCIS or DoS has put in your file.  Adding the cruft that most people add simply slows the process down.

Since we will never know the inner workings of the Consulate or the decisions/memo's/notices they must adhere to to say that 'front loading' helps is about as valid as choosing the number of Angels that can fit on the head of a pin.  No one knows, and there is no way to find out.

But I'm sure USCIS would LLLOOOVVVEEEE it if people would stop with 100+ pages of useless cruft.

This forum is just people's advice based on their own experience.  Myself and others have been denied without the officer looking at any evidence brought to the interview.  Had it been in the file, at least there would have been a chance that it was seen.  This happens in some countries more than others, so I think it is very wise to seek out country specific advice on these matters.

As someone else stated..  Not all embassies nor consulates take time to look at evidence brought to the interview.. and there are some theories that the IO makes their decision based on the documents that were sent prior to the interview.  Reading reviews will greatly help see which locations are like that and which are not.. the decision on how much to send at initial filing should be based off those for your embassy.

Thats my opinion.

But I consider front loading anything that is in excess of minimum.  Id say i front loaded my wifes i129 filing to an extent.  5 minute interview, seems their decision was made before they even spoke to her.

Unless you have 221 with a SPECIFIC reason no one will know why they refused the visa.  People post here all the time but we only see ONE side.  Its like hearing one side of a divorce.  You never get the other side.

If you meet the paperwork requirements (and one of them is proof of a bonafied relationship) you should get the visa.  K1s are not limited so they don't 'run out'.

Everyone who gets an NOA2 has met the basic paperwork requirements, yet some countries refuse many more visas than others. So country specific reviews and experiences are helpful.
