We also got approved on 26 November ! But nothing heard from NVC yet !! Your case no. starts with IOE .....? Did you call USCIS or NVC and asked about your case ??and what they said  Isn’t it taking longer ?? Normally it takes 6-8 weeks to transfer case from USCIS to NVC and in some cases in 20 days  ?thanks

I called them about 10 days ago and they said that they had well received our file on December 19th and that a case number should be created either this week or next week. That's all.

My receipt number (no case # yet) starts with SRC ( = south region center for Texas Center at USCIS).

What about you?

I have no idea. But don't torture yourself with too many questions.

Right now, our process is not late, so no reason to get alarmed (even if some people got their welcome letter before us 😋).

Take care,

Alix

Patience is key here. It took 4 weeks after my USCIS approval notice for NVC to invite me to log into their website. Your timeframe may take longer. It is still within their recommended processing times. It will come.

I read this on an immigration website: It takes approximately 30-60 days for an immigrant visa application to be transferred from USCIS to the National Visa Center. The National Visa Center recommends that an applicant wait at least 60 days from the date of the immigrant petition's approval before calling to confirm the receipt of an application.

From NVCNVC will notify you when your case becomes current or is likely to become current within a year, and will ask you to begin next steps in processing your approved petition.

It takes 4 to 8 weeks to transfer case from USCIS to NVC , but IOE petitions are abnormally taking longer for a lot of people, I saw VJ profiles of many people waiting here more than 7 months , they need to fix this problem , it’s so frustrating..God bless All and best of luck to who are waiting still  for NVC , hope to listen from them soon 😇

Ok so I filed my I-130 petition on August 1, so really close to July.  USCIS made an error in my husband's name, so it was expedited and approved on October 25, 2019.  As of now, my case has NOT been sent out of USCIS office yet to NVC.  I have been waiting for 86 days so far, and my case is still at USCIS.  Please keep me updated on what happens with you all.  If I hear anything new, I'll let you know!
