I'm seeking for some answers regardless my case. I married USC and filed my case in May 2019 for adjustment of status and by September 2019 I received my RFE. The letter said that USCIS wasn't sure if I were  the subject to two year home residency requirement rule. I checked my Visa passport page and it said that I wasn't the subject to 212(e) rule but my J1 paper sheet said that I was so I got a bit confused. Then I requested an advisory opinion from the Department of State. While my Opinion letter  with the Department of State was still pending I withdrew that letter to the USCIS as proof for RFE. I submitted my answer for RFE on Nov 29, 2019. In the middle of the January, 2020 I received my EAD card. But that EAD card arrived to my old address. Thank God I lived with my mother-in-law so it didn't get lost. My concern is why the EAD arrived to the old address. Is that because there is not much communication between employment side and adjustment side? Will USCIS just close my case due to lack of evidence? Will I have to reapply again?

Please help! I'm confused and anxious. Thank you!
