Expedite

So i wanted to expedite my case because my wife is pregnant there’s nobody to else who would help her. She already got two kids and we are expecting one too.  I sent them request but they sent me this but after that they didn’t email me anything. Just wondering if I could email them again and remind them of it.

Normally, pregnancy, in itself,  is not a valid reason for expedite........financial hardship might be justification.

We can't read you attachment.  Unless it is a high risk pregnancy, it is rare to get expedited for pregnancy.

Because of the issues with the background checks for Pakistan, (background checks/security cannot be expedited), it may not realistically be faster.

Since you are the Pakistani it will most likely take a very long time.  (you didn't make clear who was what nationality in the post.) You can get an expedited interview but the document and security checks can take a very long time to complete.

Well I have come across too many cases where somebody has said they did get a case expedited due to pregnancy to say it can not be done, and these were ones where the pregnancy seemed normal.

 

Expedite means it should be quicker, not quick.

A doctor's note indicating that the pregnancy is high risk and/or the patient needs bed-rest(cannot work) will be needed for an expedite.

What did you provide when you requested the expedite?

 

As others have pointed out, even if the expedite is approved, the administrative process(post-interview) CANNOT be expedited.

If your case is at NVC, expedite is possible for pregnancy reasons; I have went through same situation and expedite was approved but then again my case was at NVC.

Though i myself did not go to AP, incase of that there is no expedite again.

Also NVC takes 5 to 7 business days to let you know if expedite has been accepted by the embassy.

Ur case expedite request is accepted conditionally by nvc.Once u payed the nvc fee and upload all files nvc will review and update ur casento embassy .Just upload ur files as soon as possible .
