Hm, could be difficult then, but you won’t know till you try. A medical degree is not a typical background for overstay risk. Good luck.

Thank you.

If you don't mind give me examples of rental contracts that can be good. I still have plenty of time till the application.

Are you practicing as a Doctor now?

Why do you want to take a US exam?

Well that’s an easy question to answer. Of the 7 kids in my high school graduating class who went to medical school, all but one are now living in the US, mostly having moved over very soon after graduating (MLE, and residency in the US). The 7th decided being an IT multi-multi-millionaire was more atractive than medicine.

No I haven't registered to my local boards yet and probably I won't because it'll take an year to do so,but I have a temporary registration.

The answer for your second question is perfectly explained by SuusieQQQ. And I'm going to add that US provides the best training centers for medicals so that will make me competent around the world.

So this is a prelude to some sort of future study visa application, I would treat the application in a similar manner, be prepared to explain your longer term plan. Make the big picture.

yeah, so don't go faking a rental contract or something dumb like that, that can get you denied for good.

Your plan clearly relies on staying legal and compliant with the law at all times. Communicate that - you want to write USMLE because you want to practise in the US one day, you know that means you need to follow all immigration laws and wait till you get a legal offer for residency/job, etc.

Okay I'll be honest even if I have no good tie and see what will happen then.

Thanks a lot SusieQQQ and Boiler.

There are USMLE testing sites all over the world.  You will need to explain to the CO why you have to take the exam in the US.

The exam consists of 3 steps and the second one is divided into two parts the second part called CS and step 3 are only provided in US.
