I know it say's full English Translation, but there is a lot of information in my marriage and my child's birth certificate. When they say full English translation, does that mean that I have to translate everything?

Also, does the translation need to look like the original?

What country are we talking about?

Can you please fill out your timeline and profile so that our answers can be more specific to your country?

I for example was able to get a international version of my/children's birth certificate and marriage certificate with one line being in english.

I scanned in documents with a software (got it online for free) which lets you scan documents and then transforms them into a Word (with pretty much the same formatting). That way you only need to translate and the document looks pretty much the same as the original.

Just seconding that you cannot be sure of getting a correct answer without indicating the country.

Silly question, but did you submit an English translation with just one line of English? Or did you use that as a head start?

Which software did you use?

Here in South Korea,  we can get the "Household Register" in an Official English translation for free, but on the top, my wife name is written in Korean and their is a Korean logo with Korean letters.
