Hi, everyone!

I’m glad I’m not the only one on the same boat! I filed my I-751 in February of 2019, got my NOA 2 weeks after. Fingerprints taken in May 2019 and nothing since then. NOA doesn’t expire until November 2020.

I am a little worried now because after reading through the threads and docs sent, I noticed a lot of you sent affidavits! I didn’t send any. I did when I got my 2-year GC; so, I thought they were not that necessary.... I also only sent docs for 2 years prior to filing. So, this is what I sent:

- 2 years of taxes: 2018 and 2019. No W2’s since I didn’t see any request for them on the USCIS website.

- 2 Years of joint bank accounts

- 2 years of personal bank accounts showing my husband as the POD - Checking and Savings

- My husband’s statements for his 401(k) showing me as his beneficiary

- 2 years of credit card statements and pics of the credit cards

- Pictures for the last 2 years of us with friends and of our trip to Mexico. About 1-2 pics per month.

- Mortgage statements since the beginning of the mortgage (1.5 years)

- Property profile of our house showing us as title holders/owners

- T-mobile statements for the last 2 years showing both our names

- Car insurance policies showing both our names on both our cars
- My Green card (both sides)

- DL’s for both my husband and me showing the same address

- Check

I wonder now if we’ll get a ROE.... 😪

It’s almost been 15 months since we filed. Based on the processing times, CA’s field office’s times are 15-18 or so.

You have good evidence in that list. Affidavits from friends and family aren't worth much as anybody can lie, only people who don't have much good evidence use those to fill out their petition. You likely won't get an RFE, but sometimes even if you do send in a lot of good evidence they still send out an RFE because they want to see that the marriage is still ongoing. Usually ROC takes so long that a lot of things can happen between filing and the date someone actually picks up your petition to go through it. I wouldn't worry though.

Thank you, Scandi!! Yeah, that makes sense! Oh, well. We’ll see! It’s just a matter of time. Hopefully, it goes by smoothly and with no more delays or special Covid surprises, lol. Can’t wait for all this waiting time to be over!

We just hit 15 mos. without any update since the "case received" status - not even an update after the fingerprints were taken.

My wife's extension letter expires in late July so we have about another 2 mos. before we have to figure out what to do if we don't have an approval or they don't re-open the local offices.

Good luck!

OMG! Same here! Nothing has changed since the Fingerprints Added To Case status. 😏 Too bad you can’t call to request more information because no one can help you. ☹️

Good luck to you too! I hope they speed things up soon!

Hello,

There have been several approvals for SRC case number in the September 2019 filer.

Anything in this group? I filed mine in September 2019, and aside from the "received" update in October 2019, nothing has changed in my application.

sigh..

I got my case received on 05/07/2018 lol

waiting at this point over 2 years

after fingerprints in July 2019 nothing, complete radio silence

filed complaint through lawyer got generic response

contacted congressman for my district so far no news from them

Seeing people who applied in February or March 2019 and getting approved, one year after makes me wanna call and curse them out and give up, how is that fair?

it is my understanding that if your letter expires you can call to make an appointment to get a stamp on your passport, (according to their website they are planning on opening offices on June 4th), you can also submit a case inquiry in you go over normal processing times posted on: https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/.

Here is more info on case inquiries:

I feel you!! 😩 My letter will expire in 6 months. I hope I can get an answer before that. I just don’t understand how some people who filed a little after me already have their new GC and I feel all left out and in limbo haha. ☹️

It is odd how there are such huge differences in processing times between cases.

I too was at California, a April 2019 filer, and was approved just a few days short of a year (7 days before the 1 year filing anniversary, and 4 days before my N-400 eligible date).

This, while people who filed in freakin December 2018, January 2019 etc are still waiting. It makes zero sense, and I can see how it's irritating people. I think I would have filed the N-400 if I was in that situation and eligible to do so. Then at least I'd be in line for that very last process of the immigration journey.

But I can also see why you'd want to have the ROC done and dusted before starting a completely new process. And not everyone is eligible or wants to file for citizenship either.
