hi did u do something to proceed ur application im in ur same boat im sept 22 2020 filer but i did not receive anyuodate regarding my  biometric and status any suggestion? thanks in advance

I only got my biometrics update 8 months after I filed. 

yes i do have extension letter after week from the date i filed my ROC are you 2019 filer or 2020 filer?

From your timeline, it looks like you filed in September 2020, correct? I filed in January 2020. 

 

I didn't do anything to proceed my application, I didn't call or email. California is just very slow. It looks like they just mass transferred a bunch of cases to NBC in Lee's Summit. You can see my timeline. I wouldn't worry about biometrics yet, it might be a year before you hear anything.

The status for my ROC changed to "Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction" today. I did not receive a notification. 

 

It looks like CSC might actually start seeing some movement. 


7/14/20 - Application mailed

7/17/20 - Application received

7/24/20 - Text notification received with a WAC number
7/31/20 - 797 received. Printed on 7/26/20

1/06/21 - Case transferred

I-751

7/14/20 - Application mailed.

7/17/20 - Application received.

7/24/20 - Text notification received with a WAC number.
7/31/20 - 797 received. Printed on 7/26/20.

1/06/21 - Case transferred.

1/13/21 - Received transfer notice in mail.

1/21/21 - Biometrics applied.

1/26/21 - Received biometrics reuse notice in mail. 

2/11/21 - Called for an update on my case and was told file is in local office.

2/26/21 - Received interview notice. Printed on 2/22/21.

 

N-400 - Military Service Based

1/12/21 - Application submitted online; Application received.

1/13/21 - Received IOE electronic receipt notice via email; Biometrics walk-in; Case status changed to "Case is Being Actively Reviewed by USCIS."

1/19/21 - Received paper receipt notice in the mail.

1/22/21 - Received email from USCIS that a new receipt notice will be issued due to an error on the previous one.

1/26/21 - New receipt notice posted on my online account. 
2/01/21 - New receipt notice arrived in mail. 

2/11/21 - Called for an update on my case and was told file is in local office.

2/19/21 - Case status changed to Interview scheduled.

2/22/21 - Interview notice posted on my online account.

2/26/21 - Received paper interview notice in mail.

3/16/21 - Biometrics Reuse notice posted online.

3/26/21 - Received biometrics reuse notice in mail. 

3/30/21 - N-400 approved; Same-day oath ceremony.

Wow it took almost two months for your case to be acknowledged?! Ugh, get ready for a long wait about biometrics. I filed in Aug and have not heard anything about biometrics...

I filed in January and I got an update that biometrics have been applied to my case in September (no appointment).

Hey everyone,

 

I am not sure if it is appropriate to put here, but I submitted my N-400 application online today due to military service.

 

When you are in the military you are able to submit your N-400 even if you have a 751 pending and even if you have less than 3 years. Just a heads up.

 

I am putting it on here for those who might be in the same situation or have any questions can contact me.

7/14/20 - Application mailed

7/17/20 - Application received

7/24/20 - Text notification received with a WAC number
