Someone who likely filed the same day as me (s/he is only 3-4 receipt numbers away from mine) got their "new card being produced" status today (changed from "fingerprints were taken"). First sign I have seen that April 2019 WAC filers are actually moving forward.

My case is beyond a nightmare now, but I have peculiar circumstances.

Mailing date: 06/15/2018

Case received: 06/18/2018

Extension Letter: 06/25/2018

Filed N400: 07/11/2019 based on military service ( Wife and I are separated)

Missed first bio appointment for i751 due to deployment

Biometrics i751: 07/22/2019

18 Months Extension expired 02/25/2020

Infopass Passport stamped 02/24/2020

Submitted service request for case outside normal processing time and got a generic response. So my status still shows “Case was updated to show fingerprint was taken”

To my peculiar circumstance, wife and I got separated when I found a man (father of her kid) living in our house, a spare room that I only visit during winter to get my jackets.
I moved out in 2018 and shortly after got deployed before we were able to settle the issue.

Came back from deployment and wife confessed that she reported me to immigration that I was a fraud, so 2 Immigration officers came out to the house and interviewed her. She told them she lied and wanted us to come back together. Needless to say I moved out again after hearing that..

We are not divorced, do I need to submit another i751 to show that I’m filing without her this time or just wait on the current one that’ll be 2 years in a few month?

I - 751 WAC California SC Filer

Case received 4/23/2018

Biometrics reused

Case transferred to NBC

They received  RFE 5/30/2019

Called USCIS and got info our case has been transferred to our local office which is Salt Lake City

E letter expired and got 551 stamp on 11/2019

Also officer told us we will have an I - 751 interview but the problem is they don’t know when exactly cause they don’t have openings and they are supper slammed with work and there’s nobody to do those I - 751 interviews.

Weird isn’t it?

Is there anybody out there who’s in SLC local office or similar situation?

Thanks and good luck everyone.

It sounds like you need to speak with an experienced immigration attorney.

What is the status of the I-751? Did you contact USCIS before the Covid issue?

I contacted them before covid19, they told me it was just assigned to an officer. That was in February.

They like to say that to get you off the phone.

For the past month I have seen receipt numbers around my own getting approvals or RFEs, so April 2019 has been quite active lately. Today I woke up to both stimulus money in my bank account AND an approved i-751.

When I filed California was one of (if the THE) slowest service centers, I was sure I'd have to wait at least 1,5 years for a decision. Things have really changed since, good news. 👍

Hi, everyone!

I’m glad I’m not the only one on the same boat! I filed my I-751 in February of 2019, got my NOA 2 weeks after. Fingerprints taken in May 2019 and nothing since then. NOA doesn’t expire until November 2020.

I am a little worried now because after reading through the threads and docs sent, I noticed a lot of you sent affidavits! I didn’t send any. I did when I got my 2-year GC; so, I thought they were not that necessary.... I also only sent docs for 2 years prior to filing. So, this is what I sent:

- 2 years of taxes: 2018 and 2019. No W2’s since I didn’t see any request for them on the USCIS website.

- 2 Years of joint bank accounts

- 2 years of personal bank accounts showing my husband as the POD - Checking and Savings

- My husband’s statements for his 401(k) showing me as his beneficiary

- 2 years of credit card statements and pics of the credit cards

- Pictures for the last 2 years of us with friends and of our trip to Mexico. About 1-2 pics per month.

- Mortgage statements since the beginning of the mortgage (1.5 years)

- Property profile of our house showing us as title holders/owners

- T-mobile statements for the last 2 years showing both our names

- Car insurance policies showing both our names on both our cars
- My Green card (both sides)

- DL’s for both my husband and me showing the same address

- Check

I wonder now if we’ll get a ROE.... 😪

It’s almost been 15 months since we filed. Based on the processing times, CA’s field office’s times are 15-18 or so.
