Hi, guys

I'm trying to pay for the interview fee regarding the K1 visa. It turned out it's been declining. I'm using my fiancé's credit card (American) to pay for the fee in Brazilian's currency. Did you guys faced the same issue? Do I have to pay using a Brazilian credit card?

There's nothing wrong with the credit card. The credit limit is available, able to purchase international. But the website says declined every time I try to pay.

The credit card holder needs to call the credit card customer service center.

They should know why the card was declined...

They said there's no tentatives in the system. The payment have never went through.

Sounds like a technical issue rather than a declined purchase....I would try again later.

I just tried other two credit cards. Both didn't work.

Is anyone facing the same issue to pay for the interview fee?

must be a technical issue. maybe try again tomorrow and check on the cards to make sure they weren't charged. i paid the interview fee with my US credit card and it went through just fine so i don't think that's the issue. i hope it works for you later 😕 boa sorte

I had the same issue when trying to pay, the first payment was accepted (k1) but for my k2 the page keep saying the card was rejected, fiance call is bank and still nothing, he ended up login in the website when he got home and make the payment through his computer with another card and that one actually was accepted.

I tried 3 different cards in 3 different devices. None of them worked.

I even called the U.S Department of Visa and tried to pay through the phone.

The supervisor Cesar told me that the issue is due to the fact that I'm trying to pay outside of Brazil.

I paid for my visitor visa in UK and I didn't have a problem with that.
