Hello everyone!

On CEAC, there is a list of possible types of documents that can be uploaded, including some things that I didn't think were necessary.

1. Proof of US Domicile -> what does this entail, and is this a requirement?

2. Social Security Administration Earnings Statement -> what is this?? is this a requirement??

3. Marriage Certificate -> we need to give it in again??

4. Proof of Relationship between Joint Sponsor and Petitioner -> a requirement?

Please let me know and thanks so much!!

1. Proof of petitioner living in the US, such as a rental agreement, bank account, signed statement of family, or intent to reestablish domicile such as a moving plan, travel plan/itineraries.

2. SSA earning statement can be received from the petitioners SSA. If they want it, it’s required.

3. Yes you need to send in another certificate, NVC/CEAC is State Department, USCIS is DHS, two different agencies.

4. If you have a joint sponsor on your I-864, inform the NVC/CEAC who they are and what relationship they have with the petitioner.

thank you! but if your place of residence is already the united states, it is not required to establish proof of domicile again, right? or should we still include these documents just in case?

also, should we include cover letters and explanations for this and a table of contents or no?

also should we include all the passport pages or just the picture page?

No, petitioner doesn’t need proof of domicile if already living in the US. Proof of domicile is required for a joint sponsor though. No cover letters are required, if needed you can add a note in the “comment” section when you upload a document. Just the bio page of the passport is needed

Yes, joint sponsors must be domiciled in the US in order to qualify as a joint sponsor so their domicile must be proven. We submitted just the valid drivers license and it was accepted
