if your petition were approved in the last two weeks of may, has your loved one(s)received packet 3? specially, if they were to receive it from Bombay (mumbai) counslate.

please, answer with when you were approved, when did your significant other received the packet 3 or 4 or interview date, as well as from which indian counslate.

2-8-2007: I-130 petition sent on ...forgot to do the overnight

2-12-2007: Receipt Date - Received by Texas USCIS

2-16-2007: Notice Date

2-22-2007: check cashed

2-24-2007: Received NOA1 letter in mail (from CA)

5-21-2007: NOA2 in da mail

2-26-2007: sent 129f overnight via USPS (should get to them on 2-27-2007 by noon)

6-13-2007: called DOS and NVC to make sure mumbai had the case. we never got the packet 3 perhaps no one was at home!?!?

6-14-2007: Wife overnights packet 3 which was downloaded from the mumbai consulate site, filled it out, and sent it in along with other documents

6-15-2007: packet 3 delivered to mumbai consulate

mumbai embassy told me that they sent packet 3 to my wife on 18 may (in gujarat) and as of now it still has not found its way to my wife's house. My wife printed out everyting online, fillled it and sent to embassy anyways! I have seen few cases, where they do not get packet 3 in the mail at all..!!!! I hope my wife atleast gets the interview letter in the mail :unsure:

Hey soni, how did you end up attaching the two photographs onto the DS 156? Just staple one on top of another?

Also, how did you verify Mumbai received the case? Did you call them? Any tips on getting through?

hey vikasap,

I just stapled two photos together on ds-156 form.

I just email them and they usually reply the next day. Try emailing them first. I just asked them if they have received our file and they said yes! lets see what happens on this 15th. they usually put a list up for the next month interview calls. I will find out if my wife will get an interview or not in July :unsure:
