Best thing is to get familiar with the nvc stage and just be as much as possible to be ready.

Best of luck

So basically i tried calling USCIS today and asked to speak to a tier-2 officer. The agent asked for a call-back number, to which i answered that I'm currently overseas. She said then they won't be able to call me back. End of story.

Now i don't know what's the right approach. I looked online and seems that VSC has a bigger backlog than Nebraska to begin with, so I'm not sure what's their logic.

I used the tracker app and saw that many cases with a later priority date have been approved 😕

If they transfer you case, they will work on it faster. They transfer only to make the process smoother and more efficient. Once it gets transferred, it will get approved soon and be hopefully. You will get an approval soon.
If you are overseas, then talking to a tire 2 agent is difficult. I have never talked to a tire 2 agent. Tire 1 agents are decent too. They will provide you the information.
Good luck. And let us know if you need any information.

You will get an approval anytime from now on.

Following are the timelines.

PD 4th Nov, 2019

1st date update 23 Feb, 2020 – case transferred to Vermont

2nd date update 1st May, 2020

NOA-2 Approval 5 May, 2020

K3- filed on 23 March

K3- received on 30 Apr at Vermont

I-130 Approved in 180 days

Best of luck!

Congratulations! That’s great news. Other partitions will get approved soon too.

It is surprising that even after the immigration ban they approved cases of children of US citizens.

Good luck on the other petitions!

Thanks for your kind words.

My son is only 10 yrs old.

The executive immigration ban has affected adult children 21 years and older of a USC .

Once it’s approved then you will be set at the nvc process.

nvc never requires more evidence.

just taxes and few forms to fill up and the paper work that they need from the police records and the court records.

just relax and let them go with the flow. That’s exactly what I did

Sure

in my case

I didn’t use an attorney

I have submitted the marriage certificate and it’s sworn translation, lots of photos with family and  also wedding photos, hotel reservations, airline tickets, few pages of chat logs, bank account statement both names.

Thats pretty much it on my part.

i wish you best of luck

Hello,

It is never gonna get delayed. Ours got transferred from Nebraska to California, then back to Nebraska, and then to Vermont. It will speed up the process and nothing to worry about. Once it is transferred, you will get approval soon.
