It will only work if the immigrant is a spouse who works in very specific fields: "physician, nurse, or other healthcare professional; to perform medical research or other research intended to combat the spread of COVID-19; or to perform work essential to combating, recovering from, or otherwise alleviating the effects of the COVID-19 outbreak, as determined by the Secretary of State, the Secretary of Homeland Security, or their respective designees; and any spouse and unmarried children under 21 years old of any such alien who are accompanying or following to join the alien"

Thx for explaining in detail.

Nah it is nothing wrong with the paperwork. Since they transferred, they will work on it. You will hear something soon in 2 weeks - 45 days. Plus since all other immigrations are suspended, they will work on spouse of US citizens faster.
I have seen people getting approved with 1 month and sometimes it even takes 13 months. So it is just luck. You should be fine. Good luck!

Hello there!

Case transferred from NSC on February 10th. I called but can't remember if she said it was transferred to texas or Vermont.

Application filed March 2019 😕

Wife's I-130:

03/15/2019 NOA1 (Nebraska Service Center)

02/11/2020 Case transferred to Vermont Service Center

02/02/2021 NOA2 الحمد لله

02/04/2021 Approval email
02/12/2022 NVC documents submitted

So basically i tried calling USCIS today and asked to speak to a tier-2 officer. The agent asked for a call-back number, to which i answered that I'm currently overseas. She said then they won't be able to call me back. End of story.

Now i don't know what's the right approach. I looked online and seems that VSC has a bigger backlog than Nebraska to begin with, so I'm not sure what's their logic.

I used the tracker app and saw that many cases with a later priority date have been approved 😕

Wife's I-130:

03/15/2019 NOA1 (Nebraska Service Center)

02/11/2020 Case transferred to Vermont Service Center

02/02/2021 NOA2 الحمد لله

02/04/2021 Approval email

you got transferred to Vermont service center they are working cases, can take any where from 1 week to few moths,  it’s a great sign that it was transferred tho.

also you should call uscis to know exactly where it went to,  they will tell you

check case tracker and see who is getting approved within your transfer date. Just to get an idea.
