Case was transferred and a new office has Jurisdiction

on the first  email stated I was in initial review , did you get it as well

I just Called, the lady told me she was unable to give me that info. She did say that it was transferred to get process more efficiently. Which hopefully means faster.

Probably yours might have transferred to Vermont as well. It should be faster. Hopefully we all get it approved soon.

I had to call 3 times to speak to 3 individuals to get where it was sent to.

Basically yes,  you do,  as there will be a change in the case Number (if they do like mine)  as mine case changed to the new field office (Nebraska to Missouri)

then to CSB for casa embassy (at NVC stage)

Thanks for the reply. The changed in the computer said that my case number was not going to change. But I will wait for the letter then. Thank you!

Hello, I just got my transfer notice and it says my case got transferred to California. I don't know why they said Vermont on the phone and letter says California. California is already slow and now they are adding more work load.

my letter is on its way from the post office to my mail box hopefully in the next 2 hours.

 

I am sure you will be getting another notice to Vermont.

 

i was told the same thing via customer service.

 

that my case was transferred to California then to Vermont, I know California doesn’t process us citizens submitting I 130 forms.

 

we are on the same track.

 

do you have prior divorces? I read somewhere they only send to Vermont for more vertifications, but not sure 🤔

Ah okay this is actually from Jan 13 where the status said case got transferred. On Jan 14th, it said Case is transferred and new office has Jurisdiction. I might get another notice for that change I think. When I talked to the representative from USCIS, they said case is ready to adjudicated. So I don't know if they wanna do more verification. This was my only marriage and I don't have any prior divorces. Thank you and let me know what your letter says.

Yes I got the same letter that you got ,

case transfer to California then we should get another one Tuesday or so that states to Vermont.
