If i may ask, does your case location still show nvc or it's saying lagos? Just being curious.

The interview letter which came by email says I should direct any question I may have to the embassy. However "https://ceac.state.gov" says my case is currently at NVC.

@vctrokoye pls when was your PD and category of visa. Just to give an idea what the interview scheduling process looks like.

PD: 22 Feb 2018

Category: F2A

But case became DQ initially on 5 November but had to update the record to include the baby. More documents were requested for and later became DQ again on December 20.

What is the process of adding a new born? I am waiting for the welcome letter for NVC and we will get a baby in March 2020.

When you get your welcome letter and log into your case, just above your name, you will see a tab that says "add applicant" it will allow you to add your baby and you will need to attach proof of relationship ( birth certificate). After submission, nvc will review your request- usually within one hour or two, the baby then gets added to your case and the baby's column for civil documents, visa application wil appear there.

I have read it several times. We need to see how people will react to it.

Honestly this is troubling. I never imagined immigrant visa applicants would be targeted. I just dont get it but i'm hoping it wont last for too long. I'm really hoping nigerian govt will step up to this. I'm just so tired.

My wife's interview is Feb 24. I don't think she is aware of this development. Very troubling. Hopefully, people will fight it. Putting asunder in relationships is shameful.
