Hello,

I have done my interview for F1 visa on 2nd of January 2020 I am still waiting for a response from them since I was sent to Administrative Processing, and since I read a lot about people waiting for a long time, I am wondering whether there is an ending date of the visa in the visa stamp or do they check the I20? because my classes start on the 1st of February and I am sure I won't be able to go for this entry so I am planning to delay it to another entry, just so I know whether I should request a new I20 or something

The CO would have checked the I20.  Unfortunately there is nothing to do but wait.   You have to enter before your program starts.  The school's DSO can move you to the next semester.

For others seeing this thread the I20 can be issued by the school's DSO so that you can interview upto 120 in advance. It is best to get an interview as soon as possible.

yea after he told me about the AP I asked him when I would hear an answer, he told me he will keep in mind my entry of February, but my question is whether the visa stamp has a date in it? since if I get the visa stamp with the old I20 I am wondering if there is something that need to be changed before they stamp my visa

There is an expiration date on the VISA. For a 2 year or 4 year program it would be the program length plus a year.

You must be in the US and registered with your DSO before the semester starts.    Let's say Spring Semester starts Jan 28th and a new student has to be intown  by Jan 14th and in an orientation on Jan 16th.  The dates are determined by the school however you can not be late.

AP isn't anything you or the school can control.  Let your school know and they can inquiry and will push you to next semester if AP isn't done in time.
