so upon checking with local USPS office earlier today that my passport application has been delivered to Philadelphia passport center on Feb 15,2021! Not sure why the Passport customer service could not find it in the system. Cheque has been cashed yet!

Received my passport today, applied expedited.

 

Timeline was as follows:

 

2/2/2020 - Applied at USPS (Denver, CO)

2/10/2020 - Received/In Process E-Mail

2/25/2020 - Approved E-Mail

2/25/2020 - Shipped E-Mail

2/27/2020 - Passport arrived

 

Doesn't seem like there is all that much difference between regular and expedited at the moment.

I was in the same situation and I totally understand it can be extremely stressful. Below are my timelinse:

Submitted application : Dec 16th, 

USPS delivered in Philadelphia : Dec 30th

Entered into passport app system: Feb 2nd

Passport printed and sent: Feb 22nd (still waiting for it to be delivered!)

I had no idea why the customer care couldn't find my application b/w Dec 30th and Feb 2nd, and was getting super anxious like you. But as long as your app has been securely delivered at Phili, you should be ok - its a waiting game from here on. Hope you are luckier than I was.

there is a difference - regular is faster than expedited 🤣🤣🤣 I applied expedited and its been over 2.5 months and still waiting.

Thanks to USPS local office, they were able to tell me that my passport application has been delivered to Philadelphia on Feb 15,2021. Not sure if all NYS applicant routed to Philadelphia passport agency? I had a fear that USPS lost my application but atleast they were able to track it down (that is what I was being told by USPS officer) and hopefully be in safe hand! My cheque has not been cashed yet as of today! So how long did it take for passport agency to cash your cheque?

My money order was cashed the same day I got the “application received” notification from the passport office i.e., feb 2nd.

I had also applied from New York City and it routed to Phili

02/05/2020 - Received "In Process" email

02/15/2020 - Asked for passport card too calling customer care

02/26/2020 - Approved email

02/26/2020 - Shipped email

02/28/2020 - Passport arrived

So, in short, mine took around 3 weeks non-expedited. I hope everyone else's is as speedy.

The passport and my naturalization certificate were both delivered today, March 1st. The passport came expedited mail and the certificate by normal mail.

Still no update on the system eventhough USPS delivered my passport application to Philadelphia passport center on Feb 15,2021. Cheque has not been cashed yet! Look like Philadelphia passport are slowest among all passport center!

Finally got a text message last night that DOS has received my passport application on March 01,2021.now the waiting game begins!

I applied last week (the 25th) in a local library.  They actually gave me the tracking number right there before I left and shipped it same day.  Mine went to Phili as well and was delivered yesterday around noon.  It looks like Phili is not the best processing facility.  We will see how it goes.  I will keep updating if anything changes.

I applied for my passport on February 13th at a USPS office in  North Jersey.  I think that was sent to Philadelphia.  I have just checked and it says that they got the application yesterday March 1st.

Did you check the tracking number, or the DoS website (Passport case tracker) where it said delivered yesterday?
