I applied for the passport on November 4

US DOS confirmed receipt on their website tracker on November 10

 

I did expedited so let's see how long it will take them. Fingers crossed!

I guess you were right, and after all paying the $60 for expedited was worth it, yesterday my application submission turned 6 weeks yesterday, my passport has been approved and shipped today 11/13/2020 after paying to expedite it on 11/10/2020, I should get it anytime next week will keep you all posted.

Passport is “In process” as of 11/13/2020. I got an email from DOS on Friday saying that.

Update :

Received an approval and shipment notification this evening.

The estimated arrival date of my passport and/or passport card is 11/21

I think they have delayed processing times now due to Covid.

I expedited mine as I have an International trip next month and didn't want to risk it.

Took 12 days from application submission to getting the shipment notification.

They've delayed the non-expidited, to get the expedited ahead.

Update! DOS sent a email this morning saying My passport book and card were approved and that they are printing them today. Yay! 
says it should arrive on or around 11/28/2020. Basically next Saturday. That was fast processing for me!

wow that is awesome and really fast! My Passport Center is Miami but unfortunately every day for the past week that I been checking their website it says "Today November X we are closed"
