But your passport application is not processed at your local center, so its moot!!

Didn't you get yours already?

Mine's at the New Orleans passport center. I still don't have it. I don't know why the 'google docs' tracker shows mine as 'received'. The previous 'rich text' tracker was correct.

I called up the helpline today: 1-877-487-2778. I found out two things.

They gave me my application number and they told me that my application is being processed at El Paso Center.

I called as well. Received my application number and my passport is with Houston Passport Agency.

Strange, I have not received my passport considering, Houston Passport Agency has been open in Phase 1 for a long time!

Or Maybe not? It does not say what phase Houston agency is in? I believed they were open?

I did get an email that my passport was shipped today. The customer service told me today earlier that it was at El Paso.

applied: July 21st

Application Received: July 28th

Passport shipped: August 24th.

Although, the USPS check for 50 bucks hasn't been cashed yet which is very strange.

You want to confirm the location where your application is being looked at. I highly doubt that it would be at Houston if it is not open. You may confirm it by calling their helpline.

Do you know what center/agency was being processed? It usually ships from where it processed you can see on the mail envelope. My application is currently processing on Dallas passport agency according to the representative.
