Received the passport today.  It appears to have come from Tuscon, AZ.  Now awaiting return of old expired passport.

This thread is for NEW passport applications, not renewals...

IMO, it doesn't matter if you're applying for First or renewal of passport. The tracker and title of the forum is 2020-US Passport & Card Application Tracker. As long as we are all sharing our cases by filling up the tracker, we'll be able to know where did anyone submitted their application and we get to know which passport center does their passport was been processed once they receive it.

Datty85 can u tell me did you write any travel dates on ur application

@SummanThank you for joining the forum. I have seen you from other immigration site and asking this question you have here. I believe too that you submitted your application in Dallas TX?

1. When you fill up the application form DS-11 (for New Passport Application) or DS-82(for Renewal of Passport Application), you need to put any travel dates and country (approximation or estimated).

2. Processing Time in Dallas TX. It all varies. As you submit your application to National Passport Processing Center (Post Office Box 640155 Irving, TX) The Passport Processing Center will send your application to any of the Passport center/Agency. Let us hope that your application will go same Passport Center/Agency where the passport of Datty85 have been processed. Best to wait @Datty85 share to all which Passport Agency will his/her passport be coming from as shown on the envelope.

I have applied thru USPS as of today 8/10/2020.  USPS didn`t give me anything to track it just a payment receipt. Anyone knows how can i track the process?

https://passportstatus.state.gov/

Just fill in your information and it should say " InProcess". If its saying "Not Found", you application is still on the way or not put in the system yet.
