Hi buddy. My apologies for the grid that I used and posted. I just noticed that you were not on the Tracker, but I know for sure I saw you posted and added your case. Then I saw the latest grid and used it on my latest update.

No worries...kool.

At least we provide some sense of time frames and wait times.

Why this for the profile pic?  Often in movies and on TV when they show Hawaii they show this beach/view. So, instead of doing Kauai or some other locale, we decided to do here, so that whenever some show shows Hawaii and this view, we will see where we were married.

@Suze1 That is correct. Not even bent. I could still see the staples marks tho :D

@alexpop13 & @Suze1 mine got a slight bent and also could  see staple marks. Worst is on the lower left edge where the other hole of staple mark, paper was partly peeled off. I believe whey they try to remove staple wire, it didn't get off well and they force to remove it from the paper. :protest:😞

SMH....😮...OH NO!

How, after processing what has to be MILLIONS of certificates, can these guys NOT imagine and implement a  better process. It totally boggles my mind.

So much work to do...so little time.

Guess for some of us it isn't a big deal....and probably the same if you're working in that department....Sorry if it happens to someone who it matters to, but I would care less...

The certificate they issued to me seems to have been printed on a much lower quality paper and printing is also pretty dismal than from the past. I have seen the certificate from the  2000s and they had heft like a college diploma. Personally, I am not as much into the certificate itself. For me it is more of a reminder that now I have access to full protections  accorded under the 14th amendment of the constitution which is a much bigger deal for me in this day and age.

Yes, citizenship is the important thing for ALL of US. We all get/feel that. We are just enjoying some levity and sense of humor. Even my degrees (Harvard, etc.) are in bubble wrap on the floor at the bottom of a closet in our little used fourth bedroom. smile

And yes, our certificate is not shabby. But no one confuses the importance of it all.

I am joining the fun. Applied for renewal of my passport today. Got tired of waiting for the expedited service to reopen.
I am not a new naturalized citizen. Naturalized a long time ago so had to send in my existing expiring passport instead
of naturalization certificate.

@crbabelgium thank you for joining the forum and adding your case to the tracker. It's truly better to submit application now than waiting for the DOS Passport Processing Center to reopen the expedited processing service. As you may see on my case, it took only a month of waiting for the processing. I have friend here in SoCal who's sister got the same processing time. I have other 2 applications that I submitted last Monday, renewal of passports for my parents. I checked the USPS tracking just now and it will be delivered tomorrow to the P.O. Box. in Irving TX.
