Hi thank you for joining this forum. You should not be worried. Have time reading all the people here who have submitted their applications for some since Mar 6 and just received their passport last week. Some have got lucky like f7G2hj9 who's application got processed for only 4 days. We all will never know when will our application get approve and shipped. As for me, I was assuming I will be receiving it by mid of Aug basing to this data posted in travel.state.gov. My application was received on the week (June 18-24) so I was one of the 1.61M Awaiting Issuance. I did the math with the Passports Issued per week, I get like about 6 weeks more till that 1.61M will be issued. But as I've said we'll never know. I was only surprised last Tuesday I received email that my application was approved. So don't be worried my friend. Just hang in there... cool?

Awesome! Congratulations!!! :joy: I forgot to mention that it was same experience to me. Since 06/24 I know my online passport status as "In Process" and I wonder why I didn't receive notice that DOS received it. Last Tuesday I received email from DOS and said Passport Status "In Process" and I lough and said, just now I will receive the notice hence I already know that it is In Process from the Online Passport Status System. Surprisingly I received email around 5pm that the Status was Approved. Then checked it again online, Status change to Shipped.

Now I'm laughing and feel proud that I followed my gut! :idea: Before I was thinking to follow others opinion to wait the DOS Passport Services to all resume on Phase 3 of Reopening and wait till they resume the expedited processing. But I was thinking when will that happen, no one knows right? So I followed my gut and decided to submit my application no matter I may receive couple of months after but importantly that some how my application is already In line, as I considered what the DOS said that they will process First in, First out.

Such an awesome experience, isn't it? :joy:

Profile pic - Rainbow Tower of the Hilton Hawaiian Village - Waikiki, Honolulu, Hawaii.

Why this for the profile pic?  Often in movies and on TV when they show Hawaii they show this beach/view. So, instead of doing Kauai or some other locale, we decided to do here, so that whenever some show shows Hawaii and this view, we will see where we were married.

What's the purpose of the passport card? Can I check the box for it in the same form?

Also, I am supposed to bring original citizenship cert, photocopy of citizenship cert, original drivers license and its photocopy along with my filled out form and one passport photo?

Is that anything else I need besides debit card?

Thank you for joining this forum. Passport card is mostly used if you travel by land and crossing borders. Yes you you can check "Both" on the form DS-11 to have both Passport book and Passport Card.

If you have your own personal check, you can use it in paying the passport Fees. Make sure you write Pay to "U.S. DEPARTMENT OF STATE" and on top of your personal check you need to write your Name and DOB. If you don't have your own check, you need to check with the USPS Passport Acceptance center where you going to submit your application if they can issue money order. I have read here one of the VJ member said he/she just paid using debit card to the Post Office.

Note, that if you are applying for both Book and Card the fee is $140.

@NewlyNaturalized thank you so much for adding your case to the tracker, really appreciated. Keep checking at Online Passport Status  System at this link https://passportstatus.state.gov/ by Tues-Thursday. As I mentioned to my previous post, DOS will not notify us when they receive the application. I just found out when my check was cashed on my online banking, then I checked it on the link I provided and found out the status is "In Process"
