I applied at usps in Bakersfield CA, first time for me just got naturalized. she didnt mention anything about money order she gave me total and I paid using my debit card and got receipt. It was not expedited since I am not leaving the country anytime soon. Also she told it is better to get the passport card too because now it is taking longer time to get passports processed :)

Hmm.. That's confusing. See this link https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/passports/how-apply/fees.html

Ahh.. That's make sense! As long you paid on your debit $140 passport and passport card + $35 execution (acceptance) fee, you're good.

Your Application Status

Application Status: Shipped

The U.S. Department of State has shipped your passport book and card on 07/14/2020.

We sent your passport book and card to you using USPS Express Mail.

Your Priority Mail delivery confirmation number is 42XXXX7700XXXXX019XXXXX934XXXXX540. Click the delivery confirmation number to check delivery status or call USPS at 1-800-222-1811. You should receive your passport on or around 07/17/2020.

Your new passport book, passport card, and your citizenship evidence are sent separately to you. You should expect three mailings: one with your new passport book, one with your new passport card, and one with your returned citizenship evidence. Your citizenship evidence may arrive up to 10 business days after your passports.

Your application locator number is 14XXXXX53.

For folks who will experience or wonder that after receiving the email notice or online status shows Shipped and with the Delivery Confirmation number is provided. Then as you check that confirmation number you will see it was delivered sometime last year and to other address, don't you be worried that the confirmation number provided was wrong. Per agent that I spoke with, the USPS will re-use that long number. Just keep tracking it after 1 or 2 days after you receive the notice or have seen online. In my case, the agent told me to check that confirmation number again and did shows it was in USPS Facility Arkansas yesterday and will be delivered today. I also got email from USPS Informed Delivery and shows package from Passport Service/DOS HOT SPRINGS to be delivered today. I am assuming my passport was printed out/processed at New Orleans, LA as this is the nearest Passport Center to Arkansas.

I will keep you guys posted and confirm once I receive it today.

Why this for the profile pic?  Often in movies and on TV when they show Hawaii they show this beach/view. So, instead of doing Kauai or some other locale, we decided to do here, so that whenever some show shows Hawaii and this view, we will see where we were married.

Thank you my Friend @Suze1!!!

YEAH RIGHT, it is indeed feels good!

After those notices and checking online last Tuesday, Yesterday I received another notice stating Application Status: Approved so I check back online and that was what being posted too. So I got confused and kept checking until last night still the same. So this morning I called Passport Hotline and asked. I got relieved when agent said Passport was sent yesterday and I can check again the delivery confirmation number sent on the email. I am assuming the notice yesterday as "Approved" was for the Passport Card.

Yes my friend, your last part of waiting hopefully by tomorrow or Sat the latest for you to receive back you Cert.

CHEERS!!!:dancing:🥂

Hi thank you for joining this forum. You should not be worried. Have time reading all the people here who have submitted their applications for some since Mar 6 and just received their passport last week. Some have got lucky like f7G2hj9 who's application got processed for only 4 days. We all will never know when will our application get approve and shipped. As for me, I was assuming I will be receiving it by mid of Aug basing to this data posted in travel.state.gov. My application was received on the week (June 18-24) so I was one of the 1.61M Awaiting Issuance. I did the math with the Passports Issued per week, I get like about 6 weeks more till that 1.61M will be issued. But as I've said we'll never know. I was only surprised last Tuesday I received email that my application was approved. So don't be worried my friend. Just hang in there... cool?
