Hi All,

I submitted my application for a US passport with my naturalization certificate. after about 4 weeks I was approved and have received my passport in the mail... But I still have NOT received my naturalization certificate back. It's been 8 business days since I got my passport and their site mentions to call/email after 10 business days of receiving 1 of the documents.

My question is has anyone else run into the problem of not getting back their supporting documents?

I'm not even sure where it is now since I have my US passport.

That’s everyone’s problem here. Certificates come separately from your passports. And usually around 17-25 days after passport,

Thanks. I finally saw post replies after going back some more pages. It's frustrating but I understand the agency is under intense pressure now. Hope it all gets sorted out soon.

I think they are doing a great job... Please try not to worry about your supporting documents because they will send them to you from a separate/different office than where the passport was issued. It is a matter of time, so just wait for your certificate and I would not worry unless it takes longer than 2 months. Otherwise, you already have a proof of citizenship, that is your passport. You are not going to need your certificate for now, so please wait. Patience is a vitue...
